For me as a fulltime (single) mum, part time personal trainer, part time marketing manager and part time website developer I don’t function on a 7 day routine of hating Monday’s and loving Fridays.

Actually it’s be the best part of 5 years since I had those harrowing highs and lows, which at the time I would base my level of happiness around whether it was crap-Monday, Humpday or let’s celebrate day! These days I’m happy all day every day and I’m equally exhausted. ha!

The day’s I dread are the tired ones when I’ve had a sleepless night with my son, or I’ve pulled up horribly sore from training or some how I’ve allowed someone else’s woes into my head enough I can’t shake it. Don’t you hate when that happens?!

Regardless of career, working/life balance and routine there is one thing I know we all have in common, the necessity to consume food and since your reading this I’d like to assume your on the search for developing and learning better ways of being healthy, smarter and brighter in your life!

It’s a little easier when we are on holidays, relaxing in hotels and eating out or doing the rounds from families homes to friends bbq’s. Thats just not every day of the year unfortunately. If it is for you…then you got the life!

I’d like to share my thoughts on caring for yourself and your loved ones with home cooked meals, happy dinner tables and well digested bellies without a packet, microwave and with little to no meltdowns!

Here’s a list of what I bought and used this week for prepared meals, lunch boxes and a mix of delicious feast dinners and simple quick meals. It gives an idea of fresh food and ingredients needed to get you and your loved ones through the week with ease and without looking back with regrets.
